Tuesday 02 April, online, 2pm-3pm GMT+1
The Essentials of Fleet Safety is a series of five, 60-minute webinars designed to inform champions on the essential elements of running an effective fleet safety programme. The webinars are based upon the five Global Fleet Champion strands: Driver behaviour, Incident analysis and intervention, Vehicle procurement and maintenance, Journey routing and modal choice, and Community outreach.
Each webinar features presentations from industry experts and we use simple technology and graphics to ensure that they can be accessed easily, even where internet bandwidth is weak.
The second webinar in the series focuses on community outreach.
Organisations need to consider their wider role in influencing safety and sustainability in the communities and circles in which they operate. As well as helping to save lives and the planet, community outreach projects are often contained within an organisation’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme. These can bring a number of potential additional benefits, including helping to develop a good reputation among potential customers and other stakeholders, such as staff and their families.
In this webinar you will learn:
- how to inform, inspire and engage different audiences on road safety issues, including staff, contractors, your local communities and government; and
- how to get involved with simple events and campaigns to engage and reach out to your communities.
Who should attend?
Representatives of any organisation in the world that employs at-work drivers, including:
- fleet managers
- health and safety managers
- transport managers
- HR professionals
The webinar is also relevant for road safety NGOs, fleet suppliers, insurers, fleet risk management and driver training providers.
